Electric brick forklifts
September 10, 2018
Electric brick forklifts are mainly powered by motors and batteries are energy sources. The carrying capacity is 0.9-4.0 tons, and the working channel width is generally 2.2-5.0 meters.
Electric forklift basic operation and testing notes:
1. The wheel is to be raised when the vehicle is first tested so that even if there is a connection error, it will not be dangerous.
2. When the battery is charged, the charging circuit must be completely separated from the chopper. This will affect the charging of the charger, and the overvoltage generated by the charger will also damage the chopper.
3. Pay special attention to the fact that the battery outlets should be arranged in parallel and as short as possible.
4. When the vehicle is operating in a poorly-ventilated, unventilated area, it is recommended that the controller be forced to ventilate.
5. Deceleration when turning, when driving, the fork should be put on the bottom and drive within 150mm. The forklift should not be overloaded as much as possible. Do not drive on the inclined and soft ground.
6. Regularly clean dust inside the motor, check carbon brushes, springs.
7. The battery should always be supplemented with distilled water. If the battery is drained from the battery, it should be replenished with appropriate amount of battery fluid.
8. Long-term non-use of electric forklifts should be fully charged. And keep charging at a frequency of about 1 month.
9. Maintain proper startup speed when starting, not excessively hard.
10. Observe the voltage of the voltmeter. If it is lower than the limit voltage, the forklift should immediately stop running.
11. When the forklift is moving, it is not allowed to change the direction to change the direction of travel (you need to stop before you can reverse the direction of travel) in order to prevent burning of electrical components and damage to gears.
12. Running and lifting should not be performed at the same time.
13. Pay attention to the drive system, whether the sound of the steering system is normal or not, and if abnormal sounds are found, troubles should be eliminated in time.
14. Decelerate early when turning.
15. When working in poor road conditions, it is important to reduce it, and it should slow down.
16. When carrying goods on steep slopes, pay attention to the stability of the cargo on the forks.
Common faults of electric forklifts during loading and unloading
1. Shaking when lifting
a. Air in the lift cylinder
b. Hydraulic system leak
c. Inner mast/fork frame size wheel and bearing excessive wear
d. Lifting chain is uneven
2.Free fall too fast when loaded
a. Pipeline and joint leakage
b. The valve hole of the multi-way valve \ spool rod or oil seal wears, resulting in inner leakage
c. Lifting cylinder piston support ring / Y-ring wear, resulting in inner leakage
3. Lifting speed is too slow or can not lift
a. Insufficient oil in the tank.
b. Oil filter plugging
c. Hydraulic oil temperature is too high, hydraulic oil is too thin
d. Oil leakage in hydraulic lines
e. Multi-way valve lever and valve body wear
f. excessive wear of oil pump
g. Multi-way valve adjustment pressure is not proper
4. Braking failure
a.Break circuit open circuit
b. Traction electric control friction plate wear
c. Loose brake or brake pad clearance is too large
5. Part of the electrical fault
a. The battery forklift suddenly does not move backwards and forwards; there is no lifting; there is no direction; the walking is unstable; the forward speed cannot be adjusted, etc.
b. The control part of the line is more complicated. If there are many fault phenomena caused by the control problem, it is better not to repair the electrical maintenance personnel without training. If the wiring is disorderly, it will cause serious consequences. It is recommended to contact professional and technical personnel.
Some of the fault phenomena listed above are for reference only. The cause of the malfunction of the battery car during use is various, and the condition of the electric forklifts of each brand is also different. To make the electric forklift life long, easy to use, etc., mainly in the daily maintenance, the failure to eliminate the germination.
6. Cautions for battery forklift loading and unloading:
a. The weight of the goods must be known before lifting. The weight of the goods must not exceed the rated capacity of the forklift;
b. Pay attention to the stability of the packing of the goods when lifting the packaged goods;
c. According to the size of the cargo, adjust the distance between the forks so that the goods are evenly distributed between the two forks to avoid partial load;
d. The gantry should be leaned forward when the cargo is inserted into the cargo pile. After the cargo is loaded into the fork, the gantry should be leaned back so that the cargo abuts against the fork wall and the cargo is lowered as far as possible before it can be driven;
e. Lifting cargo should generally be performed in a vertical position;
f. When carrying out manual loading and unloading, the hand brake must be used to stabilize the fork;
g. Walking and lifting are not allowed to operate at the same time.
